I used both the phaser and flanger in Pro Tools effects, and used Audacity to create the reverse echo leading up to the drum downbeat. I do have creepy songs, this is not really one of them. It's just about the insatiable sexual appetite of teenage boys. We aren't students of 80's rock but we've listened to it enough to appreciate how well you nailed the groove. Your use of the effects is most impressive. OP Will Rockwell Journeyman Joined: Feb 2015 Posts: 325	I greatly appreciate the compliments, especially the comparison to 80's productions. I would argue that the song structure and production that made great songs in the 80's has not been exhausted. I am not trying to imitate the sounds of the past, it's the song structure I know, and I think there's lots more that can be done with it. I'll never tire of a good arpeggio riff played on a Rickenbacker 12 string.
