I could be wrong, but as i recall, the BIAB only version wasn't so much a BIAB only version, but when it was released, it was a point version ahead of what jbridge had available on its site at the time. As jbridge has been subsequently updated over time, the official version from jbridge incorporates everything BIAB needs to operate properly. It was just a short period of time before the versions normalized to a single version. I've updated this way over many years and it has always worked for me.
