Trying to enter a"Abadd2 (no3)" in BIAB. I attempted writing as Ebsus/ab but the instruments seem to be confused by that. Any ideas.
BIAB 2018 latest build, Window 10 Pro 64 bit operating system
X64 based processor
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU ES-2670 @ 2.60GHz

Absus2 did the trick. I would have never thought of that because it puts a Db in the voicing but it works.

Absus2 did the trick. I would have never thought of that because it puts a Db in the voicing but it works. That's because it's not a true sus2; it's really an add9 (which is the same as the 2, but an octave up). So you may (depending on the style or the RealTrack artist) end up with the 3 there anyway (the Db), but you still get the tension of the 9 (or the 2, if you will).

Note these are already defined in BB, and you can't over-ride these shortcuts

Using "sus" will add a Db to your chord. Type in your original chord without "(no 3rd)". Abadd2
