Hallo zusammen,
ich bin seit etlichen Jahren BiaB Anwender. Jetzt scheint mein alter PC schlapp gemacht zu haben, der PC auf dem ich BiaB genutzt habe.
Aus meiner Erfahrung mit BiaB weiss ich recht gut, was ich bauche, ich spiele viel mit selbsterstellten Styles, dagegen RealTrax zB brauche ich gar nicht, und vieles andere nutze ich auch nie.
Frage ist, welche Version ist das Basissystem, mit dem ich meine Styles weiternutzen kann, also so klein (und damit günstig) wie möglich, so gross wie nötig?

Willkommen im Forum!
Wenn du eine ordentliche Lizenz einer früheren Band in a Box-Version hast, kannst du die natürlich günstig upgraden lassen. Das "kleinste" aktuelle Band in a Box 2019-Paket ist die Pro-Version, das Upgrade von jeder früheren Version kostet bei PGMusic im Online Store 79 $. Dies ist eine englische Fassung, das deutschprachige Update steht dann Mai/Juni kostenlos im Supportbereich von PGMusic bereit.
Falls du keine alte Seriennummer (mehr) hast (frühere Programmversionen vagabundieren ja ohne Kopierschutz und Onlineaktivierung über viele Rechner), kannst du natürlich dann eine volle Lizenz für 129 $ kaufen.
Auch die Pro-Version beinhaltet bereits eine ganze Reihe Realtracks. Wenn du die nicht einsetzen möchtest (obwohl die wirklich sehr gut klingen), brauchst du sie aber nicht zu installieren (sie nehmen ja auch viel Festplattenplatz in Anspruch). Deine alten Song- und Style-Dateien kannst Du unverändert weiter einsetzen. Das Programm ist komplett rückwärtskompatibel.

Hallo Petra, gerade sehe ich, dass inzwischen auch der deutsche Distributor m3c das Upgrade für 75 Euro anbietet, du musst es also nicht bei PGMusic kaufen: https://www.m3c.de
