OP tcamuso Newbie Joined: Jul 2018 Posts: 12	BiaB 2020 64-bit running in W10 How can I get a Real Tracks instrument to play the notes in the score I wrote? When I select real tracks, all I get is improvisation over the chords, when what I want is a specific melody, actually a jazz head, in this case. The midi selections play the score correctly.

The tracks you CAN use are Melody and Soloist. Those are MIDI and can be saved with the song. BIAB 2024 Win Audiophile. Software: Studio One 6.5 Pro, Swam horns, Acoustica-7, Notion 6; Win 11 Home. Some of them have been transcribed into notation for readability purposes, but changing these notes doesn't change the original audio passages that they were transcribed from. MIDI tracks could be used to do what you require, but freeze changes first before generating, otherwise they will be overwritten. Get some good sound sources like Kontakt, Sample Tank, etc, learn some MIDI controls and your problem is solved. My goal this weekend is to move just enough each day so that no one pokes me to see if I'm dead or not. 64 bit Win 10 Pro, the latest BiaB/RB, Roland Octa-Capture audio interface, a ton of software/hardware
