I can almost see Bach waiting for me with not the noblest of intentions in his mind ... but here's another arrangement I made, this time of his "Andante" from his Sonata No. 2 for Solo Violin. BiaB always offers the temptation for genre melding. And this is a good example. It caught us completely by surprise as we often listen before reading the details. And even if old Bach is spinning about 500rpm's we certainly enjoyed it.  Fun! J&B

A cool mashup. I agree with Graham - I had some difficulty in hearing the melody against the backing, but I do like where you're going with this - I would never dare Maybe you could tweak it a bit. I would definitely give another version a listen if you do. Anyway, anyone who is willing to inject some Bach into their music in this era A-OK in my book!

Thanks everyone for listening and for all of your thoughts! Yes, I'm sure Bach will be haunting me in my dreams ... but hey, I have a irreverent streak about me which hopefully keeps me grounded as well as silly, haha. Thanks again for humouring my "crazy" side :-)

I’m not familiar with the original piece, so tough to compare in that regard. But it works well. It does seem to either move a bit fast or be a bit busy—I agree those flutes are lost a bit. I’d love to hear it with the pedal steel dialed down and those flutes a little more prominent. Though I get your intent.
Didn’t enjoy this quite as much as Prelude in C (always a subjective thing)—but some nice work regardless.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
