I use BIAB for gigs. I've installed 2022 and have build 917 which isn't officially out. One of several problems I'm having with the program is that you can save a volume on the midi file and when you reopen that file, the volume plays at 90. You can save the volume at O and when the file is opened again it plays full volume.
I have cancelled my next gig because of all the problems I'm having with the program.
I really believe the program wasn't really ready to be released. I don't think this is related to the problem being discussed in this thread. Your problem might have to do with MIDI channels. Is this MIDI file you have imported to a the melody track, or do you have multiple MIDI utility tracks? Try clicking on the track | Track Settings | MIDI Channel, and choose a specific unique channel. You could send a sample file for us to test and reference your post here.
