Nice relaxing track with excellent vocals and a smooth attack. Enjoyed my listen. I do think you could have come up a bit tad on the vocals but that's just me nit picking which I don't usually do :-)

Thanks, Henry. The vocal level seemed spot on through the headphones but I must admit they lost prominence through the larger sound system. I might add another db or 2.

Relaxing soft rock song, beautiful simple melody and lyrics with a pinch of nice melancholy. Nice arrangement, I especially like the solo guitarist. Pleasant vocals.

I auditioned about 4 or 5 BIAB soloist guitars before I settled on 2604.

Thank you, Captain.
I must say, it was one of my most enjoyable composition experiences. It started late on last Friday afternoon. I was pumped after returning from a 1-hour instrumental performance before an audience of enthusiastic aged-care residents.
I opened up BIAB, picked out a style, and started typing up a chord progression. I worked on that for two days and was about to record the guitar melody when I changed my mind and started to work on some lyrics instead. Come Monday afternoon it was done.

Brian, this is your best to date IMHO.
Nice chord progression supporting a fantastic vocal! Great harmonies.
That B3 was the icing on the cake. Super instrumentation and mix.

Nice write that was engaging from the get go.
Janice mentioned a Jim Croce feel.
Your pleasant smooth vocal delivery worked really well with this.
And you wrapped it all in a nice BiaB session group and mix.

Thanks J&B. I have tweaked it a little since posting it on Soundcloud, making some of the words clearer in the recording and improving the timing and mix. If I'm honest, everything I've done is actually "a work in progress" and no two live performances are exactly the same.
