You have become my favorite poet, James. A wonderful story teller, too. So often when you speak the words to your wonderful songs, I can hear the melody you hint at in the background. Only you can bring such magic from a pair of earrings. Well done.

The Victorian feel of the lyric in this sad story works well with both your melody and recitation.
Good band and mix too, James.
The 12/8 feel was nice also.

Interesting lyrics. I think vocals are a bit upfront, but clear. I think a hint of reverb on vocals will make mix smoother. Thank you for sharing.
