Band-in-a-Box accepts midi input from midi keyboards, just make sure the midi keyboard you purchase has a midi driver so Band-in-a-Box can recognize the midi input. If you want to use a midi surface controller with Band-in-a-Box or RealBand, please support my wishlist request for PG Music to add surface controller support to their products +++ HERE +++ and +++ HERE +++TBH, I have no idea what a surface controller is. I need to purchase both: a PC keyboard as well as a midi keyboard. I believe the new RealTracks are sufficient enough that I don’t need a new keyboard workstation. Trax
