Sto cercando di sviluppare una base per un amico, che ha fatto una melodia in 3/8, ma non è un walzer. Secondo voi, qual è il modo migliore   per impiantarla su Biab?

Di che genere di musica si tratta? Hai bisogno di generare automaticamente un accompagnamento o, peggio, un "solo"? Perchè, se così non fosse, il metodo più semplice è scrivere la sequenza di accordi e la melodia nel consueto "quattro quarti". Ma temo che la mia sia una soluzione troppo semplicistica. Appena ho un po' di tempo, provo a smanettare un po' e poi ti faccio sapere.

Per ora vado un po a memoria, ricordo di essermi procurato diversi mal di testa su quest'argomento.
Credo d'aver ottenuto i risultati migliori sovrapponendo 2 o 3 impostazioni:
1) innanzitutto scegliere lo stile che si desidera assegnare alla melodia e caricarlo;
2) poi nel menu Imposta tempo (interv. di misure) impostare su 3/4 e indicare negli appositi spazi i numeri di misure adeguati, in modo tale da includerle tutte;
3) entrare in Modifica lo stile corrente (che poi dev'essere salvato con un nome diverso dall'originale!) e una volta premuto il pulsante Div spuntare la casellina Walzer e togliere la spunta (se c'è) alla casellina Stile Jazz, quindi selezionare in Risoluzione la riga Terzine e salvare il tutto richiamando poi (ma dovrebbe già essere al suo posto) lo stile appena modificato, all'interno dell'arrangiamento su cui stiamo lavorando.
Non ricordo purtroppo se caricavo la melodia prima di eseguire tutto ciò o se lo facevo dopo, credo avesse la sua importanza, potresti provare le 2 soluzioni.
Non è una strada elegante forse, e probabilmente a portata d'occhio ne esiste una più semplice, ricordo però che con molti stili mi dava risultati soddisfacenti, credo possa valere la pena provarla, del resto sono poche impostazioni eseguibili tutte in meno di un minuto.
