I am using BIAB 2011 and would like to set up my instruments panning to my own liking. By default in the PERFERENCES/CHANNELS is set up as Bass 0; Piano 20, Drums 0; etc. I would rather set my panning differently than this. After I reset the panning to my liking, I click on SAVE. (OK to save settings in MYSETUP.DK file? –YES.
Unfortunately, every time I click on NEW or OPEN an existing BIAB file, the channels settings are returned to the default settings.
What I have done so far is to even select OPT / Save Preference as… (MyNewPreferences); however when I try to load in (MyNewPreferences) the MIDI/Audio Drivers Setup Window opens which I click OK. After that, clicking on each of the instruments (Bass, Piano, Drums, etc) again has the original default pan setting there.
I basically want my PAN SETTINGS set each time I open BIAB so that I don’t have to go into the channel settings or click on each instrument and adjust the Pan each time to reset them.
Any assistance on how to save PAN SETTING for each individual instrument each time I open BIAB would be appreciated.

Hi Mark, try this out. Right click on the Combo button (next to the bass). Then choose save current mix as default after you have setup your pans. There is also a Load default mix as well as reset.

Option to change all songs in a folder to your Default Mix. This would insure that all
of your songs have the same mix of Volume, Reverb, and Pan settings.
To use this, first make the desired mix by adjusting the volumes etc. at the top of the
screen.
Then right click on the Combo Radio button at the
top of the screen, and select “Save Current Mix As Default”.
Then, load a song from the folder you want to change, so that it is set as the current
folder.
Then, choose File-File Utilities- Change All song in folder to Current Mix

John, thank you for the additional information about changing ALL of my songs to this new mix which saved me HOURS of time remixing all of them.
