I have friends that spends years trying to get bands together but never get there because of the usual fighting, politics, the bass player running off with the drummer's wife, drummers on drugs, the lead guitarist has let you down he's run off with some woman and won't answer his phone . . . and on and on. . Like sands through the hourglass. . .
BIAB don't do that, it is always there for you, always on time.

SR Totally agree - that is until your RD Drummer won't play the fill you need, the rhythm guitar player is too "wooden" and you can't fill him up with alcohol to loosen his wrist, and your piano man is too Country for what you want, and all my Hi-Q musicians have walked out on me and won't come back.  But I'll stick with them - that is until my NEW band, called BIAB2016 comes along and fixes all my problems. Have a good day. Cheers Ian

No drama.... that has ruined me.
I have had several invites to join bands over the years. Lots of the players around here know of me and have asked me to consider playing live again. I kindly thank them and sometimes go to jam but never agree to join.

I've been through it all... drummer running from the law because he beat up his wife for cheating on him with the guitarist in another band, wives making a scene at a club where we were playing because the other guys in the band had their girlfriends in the club when their wives walked in and caught them red handed, fiddler too drunk to even stand up on stage, bass player missed the gig because his car broke down on the way to the gig, sound man arrested by cops at the club for an open container violation and carried to jail, infighting and rumors, addictions and weaknesses, flat tires and blown motors, and getting fired after the first night of a 4 night gig because no one showed up at the club, practices that turned into brawls over some minor issue, and gigs that were drug and alcohol fueled disasters, not to mention the time spent doing all the background work.....now, that's not to say each and every gig and practice had some level of fun and entertainment in it of course.....we loved every minute of it...well, almost every minute. That time the flashpot exploded wasn't particularly "fun".... the drummer needed stitches in his knee from the shrapnel.
Yeah, I'll choose BB & RB anytime. If you can't get those guys and girls to do what you want them to, it's because you aren't thinking creatively enough. They don't show up drunk or high, don't try to flirt with your wife, don't demand more money, and they will play their best every time no matter how many takes you ask them to do for you. Oh yeah...and they don't comment on how sucky the song you just wrote is..... they just keep their mouths shut and play it.

BIAB is the best tool for musicians out there. Period.
But no tool can emulate the human aspects of music: emotion, communication, interaction...

Yes that's true, I'm the one mediating trying to get them together to record the album to get that sound.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
