The audio you've recorded will already be located as a separate file in the same directory as your SGU/MGU file. There's no need to export. For example: if the BIAB file name is "This song.sgu" found bb\songs, then the audio file will be called "This song.wav" also found in bb\songs.
The below image is taken from Help and offers a little more insight.
Thank you again Noel. I moved that audio into Ableton and it worked well. I did have a little difficulty in lining the audio up to the bar of my other midi in Ableton. I guess BIAB uses some internal means of ensuring the audio lines up with the other midi tracks.
Here's a bit more information that might be useful.
When BIAB writes an audio file, it's alignment is determined by the settings used in BIAB at the time of the file's creation. BIAB will also add a blank 2 bar count-in to the front of the file.
Using this information when importing to your DAW.... set your DAW to 85 bpm (if that's possible) and then import to bar -1 (since bars -1 and 0 will then be the two-bar count-in). Everything should then align without hassle.

Alternatively....
It's also possible to approach the solution mathematically if you feel enthusiastic about numbers and want to align the audio with Ableton's min:sec timeline.
For example...
If a song has a tempo of 85 beats per minute, this means
85 quarter notes = 60 seconds
Dividing both sides by 85, this gives...
1 quarter note = (60/85) seconds
Now let's say that the first sound on the recording occurs on beat 3 of bar 2. This corresponds to the seventh quarter note after the song's start (i.e. 4+3=7).
On Ableton's timeline, this will probably** be at
7 x (60/85) = 4.94 seconds
**I use 'probably' because it will depend on what valur bar 1, beat 1 has on the Ableton timeline.
Using this information, it means that if you align the first waveform on the audio at 4.94 seconds (provided Ableton is set to 85 bpm), all will be good.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
