I hope all the Canadians are getting the turkey stuffed, and have family coming, before most of us get snow. What turkey we don't get goes south, except for the ones inmy backyard and on the deck. Too bad I couldn't shoot the wild ones but no guns in the city limits.

Snow? You are like only 60 miles north of me as the crow flies. 250 as the Kia drives...
I am using the new 1040XTRAEZ form this year. It has just 2 lines.
1. How much did you make in 2023? 2. Send it to us.

Well eddie, our harvest is pretty much over, as most of the country is north of the 49th parallel. And it does often snow in October. That's why we think it was NUTs for Deeetroit to build an outdoor ballpark. Perhaps having Detroit in the Wurld Serious would be cool. Guys in gloves and toques. They would have to import them for some southern team. Imagine some guy from Central America trying to play basebol in the snow. But, hockey is on ice for now, due to the yankee owners and their want of big cash. They gave the rich contracts, but now just can't afford it. When the league moved the HQ to New Yawk I knew yer jig was up, just to put some music into the thread. Now, they have to have desert teams, and palm tree teams. Right. I still bet that the TV audience for hockey is 80 percent or more Canuck. Anyway, I can see snow outside any of the 30 or so arenas in our small city. It comes out with the Zamboni. Cue Stompin Tom Conners and The Good Old Hockey Game, on You Tube. His drummer was his shoe, he used to wear out stages. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uxIJPMVHBDk

Well if ya like country fied music the Canadian way, this is about what it sounds like in almost every small town on most weekends. And the dancin gets in the way of the beer. The old Flat Topped Guitar, by the same Stompin Tom, who every Canuck knows eh? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkBtM4TuqZc&feature=related

BTW, my father in law, 3 kinds of mechanics licence, played fiddle and guitar, built a cabin by himself that is what most would call a cottage, rebuilt tractors and cars for fun, shop bigger than most peoples houses, came down with Altzimer's at 74. Stares into space, no more music, can't remember how, no more shop, has no clue who built the cabin, or why he lives where he does. Sits and stares. Came on in less than 12 months. Scares me to death to think I'm just a decade and a bit younger. His sister in law is the same age, and has been in a nursing home for 10 years, she remembers no one.
What a sad and depressing disease. Have fun now, later might not happen, or might not happen how you thought. It's why I blew some savings on travel, but gee, I might not remember being there.
I looked up to that guy, he was so smart, could do anything. Worked on the railway out west, the pipeline up north, and saved a bundle. Now he says he should sell everything, he has no use for it. His wife runs the household now.
It might surprise you, but I like that old flat topped guitar song. Reminds me of his playing a bit.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
