I think most people use the looping feature all the time. It's very flakey. As musicians, we have our hands full and reaching for a keyboard or a mouse is often awkward.
If you use anything but the F10 or the two click option on the Loop icon, it fails and the song runs on. The range can also disappear and you have to stop everything and set it all up again.

This function needs to be more solid, less flakey.

Why not have pin icons available on every bar so that one can click on the bar "pin it" maybe with a green pin, then proceed to the bar of your choice and pin it again maybe in red. From this action onwards, BIAB will repeat the loop until the pins are removed.

Solid and consistently without the worry of loosing your loop
