Marty, Your vocals fit this genre like a glove! The chord choices are spot-on and inspire me to think out of the 1-4-5 box. Is the cool solo that sounds like a xylophone actually the 'vibes' listed in your instruments?

Hi Marty. Are you dancing down the street like Gene Kelly in this one, or sitting at the piano with a cigarette between your lips?
Nice one

Classic jazz ballad complemented with Marty's mystery vibe! Everything is just perfect, melody, chords, the band, the vibes solo, the singer. But the true beauty is in the lyrics. Such vivid images of inner fire turn into a movie in front of my eyes (even without seeing the colorful video with attractive looking ladies).

S-l-o-w jazz...so cool...your eclectic side is showing again Marty...at first I was wondering, "who is this guy singing?'...the range, texture and softness of the vox threw me for a second...this is super!...I hope this will be on your album...its uniqueness is a great chance to show off your versatility...hey give us some bluegrass next time round! Thanks, Dan. Funny you said that about Bluegrass. Please stay tuned. It's way too jazzy for my personal taste, but man, I LOVE your vocals in it. I see a second career as a jazz singer for you Ha! Thanks, Brain. There's an expression I heard guitar players say when satisfied with their tuning: "Close enough for jazz." That's not true for the vocalist, so... not me. Marty, Your vocals fit this genre like a glove! The chord choices are spot-on and inspire me to think out of the 1-4-5 box. Dewey Thanks, Dewey. Yep, vibraphone and xylaphone are quite different, but you got it. Really nice work Marty!
Great chord progression and arrangement. Love the sound! Thanks, David!

Gorgeous song and production, Marty. I'll be the video took yonks to put together. I've only once used Creative Commons footage for a video and found it a pain getting it altogether and timing the images to the music. I'll never do it again!

Vic Well, if he had found the girl again, he might've learned to enjoy the rain. But obsessing without the potential he imagined, his lamenting piano music with swirling smoke was inevitable. Thanks, Vic. Janne [/quote Thanks, Janne. One thing I'll whole-heartedly agree with you on is those ladies really hit the spot. [quote=WaoBand]Gorgeous song and production, Marty. I'll be the video took yonks to put together. Man, you're right about curating vidz for songs. Not much creative fun there. Love it Marty!!! Never heard you do one in this style, but you do it VERY well!! Personally, I love the way you sing!! Take care. Greg Wow, Greg! Thanks! Coming from one of my all-time favorite singers (and I meant that), that means a lot.

More Marty Magic coming soon?
The first words that come to mind are suave and satisfying. I don't know if you've heard of Snooky Lansom from the late 40s and early 50s, but this one reminded me of him. Yeah, I'm nearly an antique!
This style suits your voice so perfectly. This is just so good. What a treat for the ears. You're a talent machine, my friend!

No mystery here, Marty; the vibe is good. This is a clever, catchy song that swings in its own relaxed groove. I enjoyed the lyrics which kept me interested all the way to the end. The laidback vocals sat right in the pocket. Mike

Super vocal and lyric. Well done Thanks, Scott. Yeah, BiaB has excellent bassists, and I'm glad I don't have to go out and buy a new upright. More Marty Magic coming soon?

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
