Hi Donny,

I enjoyed this a lot - my kind of music! Great mix - those brushes are spot on - not always easy to do. Smooth fret work. Soothing and relaxing. Nice work!

Just curious why the last time? Unless you'd prefer not to say.

Thanks for a real nice listen!

Alan

Hi, Donny.

Sounds good - smooth and jazzy. smile

I did a quick Google search - that's a nice looking guitar!

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Oh, yeah, so good, so relaxing, and so well composed, Donny. Like Alan, curious minds want to know about the "last." Hopefully you'll continue to add these gems here. Love the band and the style.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Hey Hey BabuMusic, you always have such nice things to say. Thank you. I must not have explained myself very well, as usual, lol. Like all guitarists looking for the Holy Grail of necks, I am looking too. The LTD is a great guitar but the neck isn't for me. Besides its' tone, the weight was great for me standing and playing or walking in the parades, so I made the neck work, I am sure you know what I am saying. So that guitar is officially retired from performances, I got an Epi Les Paul Classic Model that has joined the band, it has the original Les Paul neck features, yes.

I have commissioned a friend to build a tricycle music machine for the parades, I'll get some pictures when we get it done. But no, I am not going to stop posting material, I am just getting started. Have a great music day.

Yes nice looking and great tone and setup. It is for sale for a great price. I paid 1200 for it, it has done me very very well, I would let it go for 400 plus shipping, it has a nice hard-shell case.

Donny, groovy playing and tone! That muted funk guitar RT sounds really cool, and I like the way you played off of that. Sounds like you gave your LTD a great live performance sendoff. smile

Donny, super song and groove.
You picked the best drummer around for this one!
Nice backing tracks.
Super chops!
Great mix.
I hear you about guitars. If the neck, body shape, pickups, or tone, etc doesn't hit you it is time to move on. Been there - done that.

I just posted a selfie and all of the responses were get well soon!

Hey Hey DC Ron, thank you for your listen and critique. I really love the use of half steps and minor seven flat five stuff. This is that. Also, this is the only song in this set where I get to showcase my fretwork. So, while I don't proclaim to be the best guitar player, I just love what I do. I really hope it shows up in the final performances. Thanks again.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
