Realband 2010 Build 4
I want to drag two realtrack wave files from one realband file to another realband file. I successfully dragged the from files into a folder in windows explorer. I opened the realband song I want to drag to. The first 8 band in a box tracks have been changed to normal tracks. From explorer I dragged the first realtrack file to track one_success. I then dragged the second file to track two(normal track, wave). This file wound up on track one, thus deleting my first file. I tried again, thinking I may have selected the wrong track. Again, the file dragged to track 2 wound up on track 1, deleting the wave file already on track 1.
I remember seeing this mentioned on the forum long ago, before I had any experience with realband. Is this a bug? Is the workaround to just forget about tracks 1 thru 8? Or, drag to any track 9 thru 48 and then move to one of the first 8 tracks. Thanks...Bobby

Latest update installed?

Another option is to use Audio-import wave file to bring the second file back in.. after highliting the track you want it on.

Make your sound your own!
.. I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

As well as Drag & Drop, you can Audio > Export each wave track you require separately to a another folder before using Audio > Import each track to an highlighted blank track in your other file. There has always been a problem with dragging a wave track into RealBand in so far as the program seeks to load each new wave to track number one successively thereby overwriting any wave track already there. A workaround is to use Track > Insert Blank Track at track position 1 before dragging in the second wave file.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
