Hi. Let me get this right!!
You haven't seen or heard the European Song contest 2010
Then how can you post a link to the Dutch candidate or call it a parody??
Please assist me

I haven't seen the Eurovision Songcontest. I did however see and hear the Dutch candidate when she "won" the Dutch selection contest. The song was the same song for all candidates. The jury couldn't make a decision and the songwriter had to make the ultimate selection. And with a "Uhm, I don't know whom to choose. Ah well, let's go for Sieneke." the Dutch candidate was selected. The next day the media was all over it, calling it a complete parody and a shame for the country. Sometimes the media are right; this was such a time...

I'm just curious why you would choose such a topic to get on the case of a long standing member like Mike, who I've never seen ride anyone else's back over anything?

Seems a little petty, don't ya' think? Is that enough of an "assist"?

It appears that this competition goes along the same lines as “pick a country of your choice” Has Talent, “pick a country of your choice” Idol, Dancing with the Stars etc in that it is NOT a talent contest but a popularity contest. The person with the highest votes from John-Q-Public wins. I never take these things seriously.

Speaking of silly lyrics:

Come Together

Here come old flattop he come grooving up slowly
He got joo-joo eyeball he one holy roller
He got hair down to his knee
Got to be a joker he just do what he please

He wear no shoeshine he got toe-jam football
He got monkey finger he shoot coca-cola
He say "I know you, you know me"
One thing I can tell you is you got to be free
Come together right now over me

He bag production he got walrus gumboot
He got Ono sideboard he one spinal cracker
He got feet down below his knee
Hold you in his armchair you can feel his disease
Come together right now over me

He roller-coaster he got early warning
He got muddy water he one mojo filter
He say "One and one and one is three"
Got to be good-looking 'cause he's so hard to see
Come together right now over me

It's still a great song, but these are some of the goofiest lyrics I've ever heard. But it's got that "groove".

Bob

I can just picture the Beatles writing that song and saying to one another,

"Our fans just worship us and will accept any ole S**T we turn out, Lets write the most silly song going and see if they fall for it"

And they did!

I like it. Especially the line

"Like a satellite
I’m in an orbit all the way around you
And I would fall out into the night"

Very creative way of saying it.

Great beat and well written for pop. Sounds like a hit to me. Wish I'd written it. grin.

Bob my man.
He admitted that he had not seen the 2010 contest.
Therefore how can he comment on the performance?

Greg,

That the first time I've ever been called "warm and fuzzy"! And I'm happy to say that I did live through the '60's or I wouldn't be here now.

No anger here. Take care.

This has got to be the biggest joke out! The Eurovison Song Contest 2010 was won by THIS???

Germany

It is complete and utter RUBBISH!! Heck, the bad singer at my local karaoke club could do better...

And the song is rubbish too!

So much for the Eurovison Song Contest - whatever happened to the days of Cliff Richard, ABBA, even Johnny Logan?

Sam, you quite obviously haven't understood the hype about this particular performance.

It's a lot about personality -> it has been said that Lena could have won this contest with *any* song.

Lena is a fabulous ambassador of an untroubled and fresh minded European youth.

Kudos!

Sam,

this is just the old rivalry between Germany and Austria!

Austria has always given German songs a very bad rating in this ESC competition. No matter which artist was performing - young, old, male, femal, good song, bad song ...

And now that Austria no longer takes part in the competition - Germany wins!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
