Band-in-a-Box 2010.5 and 101 New RealTracks are here! (July 2010)
There were over 50 cool new features added to Band-in-a-Box 2010, and now version 2010.5 adds 30 more! Band-in-a-Box 2010.5 has great new RealTracks features like enhanced pushes, the option to have Jazz chords play as triads or 7ths, and half-time / double-time settings. There are also enhancements to audio rendering and song entry.
Plus, we've released 101 new RealTracks in sets 83 to 101, featuring more Jazz bass and guitar, Bluegrass fiddles and mandolins, Jazz B3 organ, Smooth Jazz guitar and saxophone, and much much more!

Hi,
I got the BIAB 2010 MAC Ultra PlusPAK 160GB HD Version. I´ve upgraded to the new 2010.5 bb2010_5_update_build19, the RealDrums update realdrums1-29_update_july08-2010 and the RealTracks update realtracks1-82_update_july08-2010
Why must I get an extra HD-version in order to have all the new Styles, RealDrums and RealTrack. Can´t just get the downloadversion 2010 Summer PlusPAK in order to get all the new stuff?

In addition, I just ordered
UltraPlusPAK Upgrade from 2010 UltraPlusPAK
ELECTRONIC DELIVERY
but no download-links for the new realtracks are provided ... ??
Then noticed cheaper
2010 Summer PlusPAK for Mac here in the forum
Asked to change order to Summer PlusPAK - no reply yet ....
As you say, all we would need is a downloadable version of the 2010 Summer PlusPAK.
Please!

You don't have to buy a new hard drive, the $99 SummerPlusPAK will get you the new RealTracks.

OK, thx. Just did. Guess the advantage getting the HD-version is you save downloadingtime which is considerable :-)

Well, Kent from PG Music handled my concern perfectly - changed my order to $99 SummerPlusPAK, sent the too much money back and the download links for the realtracks - great support, thanks again Ken !

I totaly agree with Robert. PGmusic handles all issues with GREAT support. I compare to Avid and Pro Tools which is a complete mess. Recently I order and paid via PayPal for an upgrage using theire webstore. All went well until I was going to recieve the new serialnember. Now my €221,15 are pending at PayPal and Avid can´t or wont do anything about it. I just can´t express how pleased I am with PGmusic!!!! Great job, guys!!!! PS. Now please make these last two realtracks downloadable ;-) ...and I be your obedient server forever.

I see the link to purchase the new RealTracks, but I have the 1010.00 Audiophile external hard drive. Are these downloadable RealPAKs the lossless AIFF files? Otherwise, I'm back to having to upgrade.
Secondly, the page indicates that the requirements are BIAB 1010.5 or higher. Wouldn't that mean that I would have to upgrade to the new BIAB to purchase the additional RealTracks that already come with it?
Slightly confused, but what's new?

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
