Trax, great! Mixing, mastering, singing, instruments, everything. Sounds radio ready to me. Is that an original song?

Hi Trax,
This work is excellent on every level. Your singing is sensational and the mix is exceptionally good. All in all, a great sense of arrangement shines throughout. I've just been listening to Bono and The Corrs sing this song live and, I've got to say, I like your version a whole heap more.
All the best, Noel

Oh Trax, this is too good. I just love it, love it, love it! Got that emotion in the vocal and the arrangement rocks. I really liked how you changed it up some on your vocal phrasing with the straight "blue" and "blu oo oo oo..." soooo nice. Great mix too.

Eddie you have another winner in your book with this tune. I also must admit this is the first time I have ever heard it, but happy I did.

Great work! Music, lyrics, and vocal are all great. The vocal leans towards Clint Black a bit, to me- which you should take as a compliment! Nice job!

what I especially like about this song is the way you used recurring patterns to create a "signature" for the song. The randomly generated patterns in BIAB generally prevent that from happening, so you have to find a way to force it.
So, I'm curious to know if you played the recurring signature guitar riff, or if you cut and pasted a section that you liked.
Most of the songs that stick in my head have a highly recognizeable and recurring signature pattern. Lack of one is often a tipoff that the song was generated with BIAB.

I love u2's version it's a great song.
My only nit would be that the guitars sound too midi like for my liking, sounds too rubber bandy. you should be able to find a better midi guitar sound than that, that actually sounds like microsofts basic midi font. It takes away from the rest of it in my opinion.
If you have to use a midi part I would use midi piano for the riff.
You probably need a better midi sound module
You could use some harmonies on the "where do you go when you're lonely" part.
Nice job on this, good performances.

Trax,
I echo Pat's comment. Your voice is like a hybrid of Joe Walsh & Neil Young. I am not aware of the original track but your remake is very palatable to the ears!

Well done
Michee
The signature guitar riff- I recorded that with my keyboard using the clean guitar midi patch. All of the other tracks are Real Tracks and Drums. I laid out the chords in Biab and saved the file. Opened in RB and added the RT's & Drums. I believe the guitars were A. Guitar-fingerpick, E. Guitar-Dreamy & E. Guitar Dire.
I sang the "Blue-Oh o Oh" part and used TC Helicon for 1up 1dn and pasted the harms in. Then I sang the lead vocal.
Thanks for the kind remarks and listening to the song, I appreciate it.
Trax

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
