Hi,
I'm new here, and have been playing around my new audiophile windows edition (2011.5) for a few weeks and enjoying it.
I have 2 questions.
Q1 : How do I know or confirm if the wave files being exported is of 'audiophile' quality ? I would like to export some tracks to my DAW for further work.
Q2 : In one style I'm working on now (^_SJAZBL2 : SmoothJazz Ballad w/ElGtr), in the key of C, I have entered a chord Fmaj7. On some occasion, the guitar riff produce an Eb note (it should be E, for Fmaj7) and sounds clashing with the chord. Is this consider a bug and to be reported ? Currently I'm just editing some chords so that it will refresh track to avoid the clashing riff.
Thanks!

Examine the "raw" Realtracks files in their folders. If they are all .wav suffix (and not .wma) - then you can reast assured that you are generating your tracks and files from the audiophile realtracks.

That certainly sounds like the makings of a bug. Before reporting, though, I would hit New and quickly tyoe out another songfile that includes that chord and see if it happens again, this to rule out the possibility that the bug is just a corrupted single songfile.

The audiophile version contains both .WAV and .WMA versions. BIAB always loads .WAV files if they are present.
BIAB 2024 Win Audiophile. Software: Studio One 6.5 Pro, Swam horns, Acoustica-7, Notion 6; Win 11 Home. Hardware: Intel i9, 32 Gb; Roland Integra-7, Presonus Studio 192, Presonus Faderport 8, Royer 121, Adam Sub8 & Neumann 120 monitors

Thank you, Mac and Matt. Yes, I've check the real tracks folder, and it contains both .WAV and .WMA files. Regarding the dominant 7 riff over a major 7 chord, here is a sample mp3 file : http://www.mediafire.com/?mkg9fjc8gj36gbhIt's simply an 8 bars repeated chord progression - the first 8 bars is correct, and on bar 10 is where you can hear the clashing riff. Thanks!

Correction.. upon checking it's not an Eb note.. it's Bb (to C note)..but still sounds clashing.

There is a "DAW" button in Biab that is used for drag-n-drop from Biab into another music application. Using that button allows real time drag-n-drop where you don't need to export anything first. You simply drag the Biab part, AFTER you have generated the part(s) in Biab, into the track(s) of your other sequencer etc . . .
Check the tutorial videos or the help file on how to use it as intended.
That DAW button allows a quicker step to get your part(s) into another music application, which many use here for mix-down, mastering etc . . .

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
