When setting Opt --> 3 Bars/Screen I receive a result of random Bars/Screen
Displays randomly (1) Bar only (2) Bars (3) Bars
Seems to me that selected sections have something to do with this. But that is annoying when printing the song.
Thank you from your time!

1. Do you have a question?
2. To which screen and "opt" are you referring?

If you set
1. A section for 8 bars 2. Opt->Screen/Bars 3 /screen
a) The notation screen will display a screen of 3 bars + a screen of 3 bars + a screen of 2 bars = total of 8 bars during playback
b) The final printout will be also on paper 3 bars + 3 bars+ 2 bars = 3+3+2
The print out should not follow the settings of display. They should have different settings.
Thank you for your time!

If you hacve your Prefs set to "New Line with Part Marker" -- you will get a new line with each Part Marker no matter where that Part Marker may lie, or number of bars between Part Markers. This will be indicated by those little gray lines between each line on the Chord Grid.
Try turning that off in the Prefs.

On the print screen click on fake sheet mode, then opt. There you can select how many bars per line you want.
Let us know if this works for you.
I just posted a selfie and all of the responses were get well soon!

Thanks Mac opt->preferences->display setting "New Line with Part Marker" solved the problem. It just should be disabled by default.
I tested it and it is global setting. So I do not have to change it in every BIAB session.
For example Notation Options "Minimize Rests" is annoying, because it is set to default value of "on" in every new BIAB session. BIAB does not save "Minimize Rests" to it's properties.
Thank you for your time!

This answer sounds like it is for Notation Options but does not work for me with BnBox 2012.5 If indeed this the window you guys are talking about. I would like 6 or 7 bars/screen (measures) rather than the default of 4. Worse yet, in some parts of some songs, this changes during playback to 2. What a pain!
On the line to the right of I do not see any option that says "disable" the only choices I see are:
none chorus chorus or intro part marker
I tried none, in case that's what you mean by "disable" but when I choose a new song, I still only get 4 measures of notation.
What should I be doing?
Never mind, solved it by un-checking (about 4 rows down from the bar/line)
"load notation setting with song"
This makes the change Global, and now it works.
Thanks,
Dan

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
