I have to wait for my delivery. Download to South Africa with our diesel bandwidth generator will take just as long and cost a bomb...

So I have contend myself with listening to the demos. I do not know how they do this but it keeps on getting better and better ...

However I just want to thank them for releasing this so I can have my "from myself to myself" Christmas gift early.

They must be cackling though, got it out before the begging/guessing started ...

I'm doing allright for Country Trash ....

I used to care, but things have changed (Bob Dylan)

Another one from South Africa!!

I stayed up all night. The snail mail has not arrived yet (waiting for the Terrabite version) and the download as Trash said does not work at human speed. Download of the base program got timed out and now the link is diabled by PG. Will have to restart again today.

Counting the days to touchdown.

Except for about 3 hours, been going since 8 a:m.

Just finished my first song, albeit think its
earlier style.

Love the F5 Icon, and also the BIAB loop feature.
Worked great when re-generating a single track...the audition part.

Started some new meds today also, so they took bit of wind outta my sails.

To the best of my knowledge I auditioned every new style, few glitches, but
for another day. There may be some new PG created styles
using new RT's within the other ones.

I'm 6ft 1...210...doing my snoopy dance...ROLMAO.

I was surprised on the release myself, figured before Christmas, but thought
would be next week.

BTW, for those who did not, make sure you get the $25 bonus pak. I forgot
and had to "bother" them again.

Last year I was SO keen to buy that I hit the trigger too quick and did not realise that they offered one of the best kept secret piano realstyles styles ONLY in the Bonus Pack.

AFTER my drive appeared I had to bug them, order the BONUS and wait for the week+ delivery again!!! I could whack myself behind the head for that ....On top of that had pay for delivery TWICE..(and I could not even blame anyone else ..jeez)

I was too busy yesterday to look in here, but when I found out this afternoon that 2013 was out, I bought it immediately and this is great stuff! So far I'm particularly fond of the new "Song Form" feature, but many other nice things will turn up during this long night I'm sure!

The new RealTracks with my hero Paul Franklin soloing has certainly made my day!! Thanks Peter and staff - a job well done indeed!

BTW: I'm on Windows 8, 64bit Enterprise edition and everything is A-OK in case anybody needs that information.

I haven't upgraded since 2012, but since my keyboard needs to have $450 spent on it to replace the touch screen, I haven't been playing a lot. I'm not sure how to proceed here.

Spend the $450 and get the keyboard fixed, which is usable right now, kind of, or hold off until I get my 1944 Springfield Garand paid off and in my possession (all matching numbers!), and then figure out what way to go from there.

I think the Garand comes first, then the keyboard, but I'll lose the pricing on the UltraPlus Pak upgrade.

Oh well, such is life. I could buy a new keyboard, but that would require a loan to do, and in this economy? I don't think so.

Bummed.

Peter, I promise, I'll buy 2013 sometime this year.

Gary

Needless to say, I am suffering now (still at work). LOL!

Song Forms, summary of F5 changes, re-titled Play and Re-Play buttons ... plus all those new Realtracks (202 for me) and super midi tracks! I think I'll wait until the end of December to order, though -- there are always patches in the beginning and I don't have too much time to mess with it right now.

One of my biggest concerns when ordering twice a year is making sure I get it all. So my first and last question to the salesperson taking my order is, "are you sure I have ordered everythng I need to in order to me at 100% of all realtracks, features and upgrades"?

Looks like I will be asking that same question again this month.

Later,

Danny,
One of the reasons I don't order twice a year is that by ordering once a year, I'm usually saving money. Spend $99 twice a year, or $139 once a year? Besides that, I've been cut to 27 hours one week, 35 the next, alternating, and I'm just plain poor. One of the reasons my keyboard isn't fixed and I don't have the Garand!

I'll probably end up putting the UltraPlus Pak on my credit card.

Gary

Gary, I am on the low end of the social security pay pecking order and I have to plan ahead to update 2 times per year, but this is what I enjoy more than any of my hobbies. What I want to mention is , when my HP pavilion i7 was about out of of factory waranty, I had a $2.00 goodwill table lamp near my computer. The lamp did the clasic goose neck crash onto the screen. When I returned, I had a burned spot about the size of a golf ball at the upper bezel, camera lense fell out and screen burned. Then my key board pad started not reacting to normal touch. I was told by the local Staples tech. than it was doable to replace the pad myself without a lot of hassle and the cost wasn't that much. Maybe you should check that out before you leave it at a repair shop. I should also mention that HP replace everything under factory warranty. The HD came back as new from the factory. I wasn't planning on a HD reset, so I lost everything. I didn't make a copy. It could be that a key pad problem is not just the key pad. The other option is a wireless key pad. By all means don't let the rifle get away. Leon

Leon,
Thank you very much for your advice. However, the keyboard and display that I'm talking about isn't my computer, it's my Korg PA800.

and a closer view

As you can see, my screen is dying. The spots grow bigger each time I use the keyboard. The display is a touch screen, so it's expensive, $350 for the screen, $50 for the new driver board (which needs to be updated because they switched screens) and then shipping and so forth. As to the work, I'm an electronics technician, so I can do it myself. I just don't have the money.

Again, thank you for offering the suggestion.

As to the M1, not a chance. It's all matching numbers, and isn't a CMP rifle.

Gary

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
