I installed Band in Box 2007 on Windows 7. The program installed but when I open the program a box appears stated I need to increase NUMGUITARTUTORS. Then it will not let me do anything else. I have to go to Taskmaanager to close program. Any suggestions?

Hi James, I haven't heard of that error before. That error message would only happen if either the file was damaged, or some other big problem, like memory being N/A. We haven't heard of any problem running BB 2007 on Windows 7. One issue might be if you had a version higher than 2007 installed aleady, and downgraded to 2007. In that case, an error like that might be possible, since you'd have a combination of old and new versions. But that said, I still wouldn't expect a problem mixing versions like that. Make sure that no virus-checkers are on, in case they are blocking the program for some reason. If no success there, I'd recommend upgrading to 2007.5 (free update, and lots of new featurres added) http://www.pgmusic.com/support_windowsupdates.htm#242

I did have BB 2008 on the particular computer and the program began having problems. I uninstalled it and found that I did not have a 2008 version of the program but only the 2007. I then installed this and got the error message. I guess that might be the problem but I have no idea of what to do unless there is something still in the registry from the old program.
Any ideas????
I know go ahead and spend the money for the newest version.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
