I bloody love it.
Sure I should start by reading manuals and watching vids, but I am a bloke and we don't do that sort of thing. So having loaded it all up, which was a piece of cake, I entered the chords to a song I wrote a while ago,generated it all up, changed a couple of the midi files to realtracks added a recording I made of the song. and blow me down if it doesn't sound just like it did in my head,with drums bass even a fiddle.
Of course I am now going to spend time getting to know it, it actually reminds me of Photoshop but for sounds as appose to images ie its pretty easy to do a bit but takes time to master. Well Photoshop took me a year or so but I think perhaps I have a head start on this.
I will stop waffling now and just say, if you are reading this and are undecided if it is for you, then don't be, it is all folk say it is and more.

Hey Steve Mac, i don't know about the "bloody" part but I received my first BIAB (2014 Ultra) a few weeks ago now and I am loving it as well.
I must say I did have a issue with the 'build 379' install but with the very good service help from the people at PGMusic (I've got to say that they are my new "Gold Standard in Service" people, way to go all you guys and gals @ PGMusic service. And I know about service, and what customers expect, as I work in it at my day job!
I found out that Norton's Virus software is not very friendly with BIAB or so it appears that it isn't for me.
So... I have got to remember to disable Norton's BEFORE I upgrade,I have got to remember that little thing.... got to remember....
Yeah, reading the manual and watching the very good videos is a very good help in understanding and using this very good program. I know its helped me, but I have a very long way to go to even get good at using this wonderful program.

Totally agree. My only gripe was the screen proportions on my monitor but build 379 fixed that with the Ctrl T fix and now I'm loving it.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
