So for me to upgrade from my 2013 Audiophile to 2014 Audiophile its going to cost me $299? Why? whats new? The basic program is $49 to upgrade. I cant help feel that the $299 is a complete rip-off? I have other top end Music creation Software and the average upgrade price per year usually around $100 or so and you normally get a lot for the price? As I stated, what is the difference between 2013 Audiophile and 2014 Audiophile that warrants $299 when the program is only $49? I actually feel a little let down by PG  Eddie

Hi Eddie, In case you haven't seen it, here is the list of 'what's new' for version 2014 when compared to version 2013. http://www.pgmusic.com/bbwin.new.htmAs you can see, there are heaps more Realtracks, MIDI Supertracks, etc., in 2014. I suspect that the 'program change' you mention, is only the new graphical user interface (GUI) - which is only a small part of the upgrade. Kind regards, Noel

There was a sale that ran for a month and a half that ended January 15 (after being extended). You should look for this each year after the new version is released.

All those great pro and award-winning pro muwicians on the new RealTracks do not work for free.
On top of that, you want the Audiophile version.
Comparing bb2014 to other music making programs and their pricing prompts the question, "What other music making program can do what Band in a Box can do?" If they cannot create autoaccompaniments featuring the actual playing of top musicians, they cannot be comparable IMO.
All things considered, the price of admission is a bargain.

Ultrapluspack is $279 .. $20 more seems reasonable to me, especially considering the filesize.
The Everythingpak surprises me though, it appears to be $80 more than the audiophile!

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
