Using Opt|Utilities|Make an Advanced Patch map:
I have a hardware bass sound that needs the LSB and USB changed from the default. The required changes are made using the Advanced Settings after checking the Enable Advanced Settings box. I use the Save button to 'permanently' save the changes for future sessions of BIAB.
After exiting and reentering BIAB, the settings are still present. However, if I reboot, the changes are no longer there. Everything is back to the default '0'.
No luck using 'Return to Factory Settings'.
Will someone please verify this? Also, any ideas - maybe deleting a file or something?

You could be using a Style that has the Patch embedded in it. Maybe.
Better way for others to check this would be for you to post a link to the songfile so we can examine exactly what you've got happening.

Also, Try dong a "Save with Patches and Harnmony and checking the appropriate stuff in that window.

Thanks for the response Mac. After exiting and reentering BIAB, the settings are still present. However, if I reboot, the changes are no longer there. Everything is back to the default '0'. The patch changes are supposed to be global and stored in MYSETUP.DK They are not song or style specific. Non of my songs or styles use custom patch changes. The problem is the changes, supposedly stored in MYSETUP.DK, disappear after a reboot.

Not intending to say that you haven't found something that might be broken, just thought that perhaps the Save with Patches thing might find joy until something broken gets fixed.

"Yes, it appears these advance settings are disabled when you restart your computer. We have forwarded your inquiry to our development team to see if there is a chance of re-writing the program code for future build updates. For now, you will want to re-enable those settings when you first open Band-in-a-Box after a reboot. "

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
