I created a repeat (1st & 2nd ending) and want to delete it or edit it out of my song. Everything I've tried regarding editing, creating 1st and 2nd endings etc. has failed. No matter what it is, I haven't been able to get rid of that repeat.
Anyone got any clues?

Can you post a screen shot to show us the repeat. I suspect you may be trying to remove a repeat sign which is part of every BIAB sheet. As long as there is chorus > 1, there will be a repeat sign.  By the way, welcome to the forum

Jazzman...First of all, thanks for the welcome. Regarding my post, I did find a way to get rid of all repeats and endings. It just took forever. I do appreciate the time you took to put together the info that you sent. Thanks so much.
I do have another question that maybe you can answer.
The chord structure to my song is complete, but I would like to add a vocal to it. I know that BAIB works with midi files, and I know that I can't record a voice midi without it changing to an instrument. I can create a .wav or .mp3 file, which I did yesterday. For awhile, that vocal played along with my music, but after I saved the song, the vocal wasn't saved with it. Is there a way to insert a .wav or .mp3 vocal file into a BAIB created song?

To just answer your question Is there a way to insert a .wav or .mp3 vocal file into a BAIB created song? Yes, you just have to name the audio file the exact same name as the BIAB file with the exception of the .extension and place it in the same directory. Which may explain were your prior vocal audio track went. Did you rename the BIAB file? Cause if you record the vocal track in BIAB the resulting wav file is right there in the same directory with the same name.

You just need to configure your mic and press the audio record button and sing along to the backing. I know that BAIB works with midi files, and I know that I can't record a voice midi without it changing to an instrument. BIAB works with both Audio and Midi. But I never heard of a voice midi. Just keep asking questions, this is a good place to get the fundamentals figured out.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
