Hi all, returning after a long absence.
I just purchased a Roland FA-08 keyboard/workstation and I'd really like to set it up with PowerTracks, so I've been looking around for patch maps. I found the PT tutorial on making my own patch map, but I wonder if anyone else has gone to the trouble already and made one for the FA-08. I tried the Cakewalk site and the Roland site, and the list that PG Music maintains, but none of these has anything specific to the FA-08 or FA-06 (the 06 is the unweighted, fewer keys version but is internally the same). Roland is supposed to have a patch map generator, but when I go to the location I get an Error 404.
Thanks!

If you do make one please remember to share it in PGMusic list.
It's really not that hard, especially if you have an electronic manual you can copy/paste from.
Make your sound your own! .. I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

I have located one just recently discussed on the RolandClan forums. It's for Cakewalk, but PowerTracks is able to convert it to its INI format. However, there are too many patches in it (>2000) for my version of PTPA (2012). You can download the original Cakewalk version at http://www.jp-80.com/fa/fa.html. It's not an official version, so the usual caveats apply. Does anyone know if newer versions of PTPA allow more patches than 2000?

Thanks! Hi Ken, I used to own a Yamaha Tyros and I am in the market again for a new keyboard. What are your thoughts on the FA-08? Does it work well with the PG Music software? How much polyphony does it have as well? The FA is one of the keyboards on my list to possibly purchase. Thanks for any advice, Trax

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
