2004 [Pop-Jazz]Whom Am I Singing for In Your Eyes This is my first thread here This song was done in 2004(I know...12 years ago), lost the project file all tracks were generated by BIAB, no realtrack, with a GM standard SF2 midi softsynth(is it what it's called?). Recorded and mixed in Audition 1.5. The original words are in Chinese, I now translate it to English:) Lyrics: Whom did the flowers in my heart blossom for? Why is there a helpless fragrant? What's helpless is that someone's thoughts were left in my heart. Who are my songs for? Why is there an aged sorrow? The sorrow is that in someone's heart, my face has been forgotten. Oh, that sorrow, is like a solid wall, blocking my road to move on. Is there a YOU that are in love with me, who can be a company on the trip of life? LOL

Hi Kevin,
I don't remember seeing you in Users Showcase before, so welcome!
I enjoyed your composition. You've got a great voice. It was very easy to sit back and listen. I really liked the main piano in the backing. It's style suited your work well. As I listened, I found myself wondering how this piano would sound using Sforzando's Hi-Q sounds and then framed by a couple of Realtrack guitars.
More please.
All the best, Noel

Hello Kevin,
That sounds like the Joplin style, right? Sounds very okay, good work!

Hello Kevin! that was a very entertaining musical trip you took us on here. I immediately thought of Paul McCartney when I heard this. It really sounds like something he would do (the melody and chord structure). Thanks for posting. Torrey.

All the best, Noel Hi Noel, it's been 8 months since I came to this forum and you kindly replied to my first post in "BIAB for Win" section. And I still remembered your song and sometimes sang out loud "Please don't change a single thing about you". I just love it!

Thanks Scott. Seems that you are a guitar collector, based on your photo and the painting(or photo) on the wall. I don't play any instrument myself. Tried ukelele for 2 weeks, it is nice.

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
