Many years ago, in my Windows days, I was able to loop an arbitrary set of measures which were displayed in notation mode. I was disappointed when I converted to the mac version because it only allowed me to loop the measures on the screen. Since one of the motivating factors for using BIAB is to practice with a band, I figured by the time the 2018 version rolled around, one would be able to do something that was available for the Windows users many years ago.
Yes 2018 Mac version let's me display an arbitrary number of measures in Notation mode and that can be looped, but I have found no way to control the starting measure, and if there are a lot of measures, they're crowded into one line.
I have a kludgy work around. Select the bars to repeat in Chord display mode. Bring up the leadsheet and hit F10 function key.
Seems like there oughta be a better way to do this.

Hi David,
There doesn't seem to be an easier way to do this right now in the Mac version, but I'll be happy to pass along a request to add that Loop Screen button that's in the Windows version.

Thanks. Please understand, there is a loopscreen button in the mac version when you are in notation mode. However, I cannot find a way to select an arbitrary beginning measure. I can alter the number of measures that are displayed, but instead of using multiple staves, notation mode crams them all on one stave .... which gets pretty unreadable when you exceed ~10 measures.
You can loop arbitrary (continguous) bars in chord mode, but after specifying which bars to loop, switching to Notation mode abandons the loop selection.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
