There is some midi fakebooks and some other stuff included with the ultra Pack Plus which I guess accounts for the higher price

I chatted with sales today and confirmed the only difference between UltraPak and UltraPak+ is the Video Tutorial PAK and the MIDI Songs & Lessons PAK. They also confirmed these two items have not changed. If you have them you definitely do NOT need UltraPak+. And when I bought them a couple of years ago I found even then they were out of date so even if you don't have them you don't need them!

From following Noel's links above the Ultrapak+ includes the bonus pak with 40 unreleased RT's in it. The Ultrapak does not have those so it depends if you want those extra new RTs or not. Here's the direct link to bonus pak info. https://www.pgmusic.com/bbwin.bonuspaks_2019.htm

I chatted with PGM and they did not say the UltraPAK+ includes the 40 unreleased RTs. Those are gonna cost an extra $49 with either UltraPAK or UltraPAK+. Also, if you look at the packages page it tells you exactly what is in UltraPAK and what is in UltraPAK+. I highlighted the differences and in neither case does it say you get the 40 unreleased RTs.

and in neither case does it say you get the 40 unreleased RTs. JJJ, In your images both say Free Bonus Pak at very bottom; I believe those are the additional RTs.
Make your sound your own! .. I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

There are two bonus paks...a free one (included with UltraPAK and UltraPAK+) and a $49 one. The one in the images is the free one. https://www.pgmusic.com/bbwin.bonuspaks_2019.htm

JJJ, When I click on this link https://www.pgmusic.com/bbwin.packages.ultrapakplus.htmit lists 2 free bonus paks not just one like your image shows. So if you are correct then the page needs to be corrected.

Just to be absolutely certain I just now asked PGM again and this is what they said... -------------- Hello, your Sales representative is Ember
Welcome to PG Music Visitor. Ember will be right with you.
Ember Welcome to PG Music's Live Help. How may we assist you today?
Visitor Are the 40 unreleased RealTracks included with any package or only available as an extra purchase at $49?
Ember They are not no, they are additional purchase
Visitor So just to be clear...UltraPAK+ does NOT include the 40 unreleased RealTracks?
Ember That is correct.
Visitor Thanks!

If you look closely you'll see BOTH of those links go to the same page. And on that page it describes two PAKs...a free one and a $49 one. UltraPak+ only differs from UltraPAK by adding two older products, Video Tutorial PAK and the MIDI Songs & Lessons PAK. No other differences!

Well then they need to correct the linked page then because it lists it like this Free Bonus Pak Free Bonus Pak which would make one assume that you are getting both. Did you click on the link JJJ? You do see the TWO bonus paks links don't you? I'm just going by what I see.

Yes I did, And the first link shows one bonus pak listed at the bottom. The second shows it listed twice. If you are only getting one why are they listing it twice.

Yes the link(s) leads to the same page but the page describes the two different paks. both links say FREE but when you get to the page it describes two PAKs...a FREE one and one you pay for. Anyway it doesn't matter...two different PGM reps have confirmed you do NOT get the 40 unreleased RTs in the UltraPAK or UltraPAK+! Seems like they would know, right?

Yes. I understand. If you're going to get the xtra RTs it's going to cost $49 more. They should fix the page. There's too much confusion on these upgrades every year. Sorry for mine. Thanks for showing the real difference because i don't want to pay for something I've already got either since it's going to cost me $49 extra from the get go to get all the available RTs.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
