hello can anyone suggest any styles that maybe similar to the early 60s blue beat record label (early ska/reggae types) ive tried the reggae and ska categories but they arent what im looking for. i keep going through the styles but i still haven't found what im looking for(yep its a song title) thanks to anyone who can help.

fiddler it was a record label in the early 60s called bluebeat (jamaican i think) a lot of their recordings were similar a kinda off beat reggae heres a link to a track,pretty simple stuff there are also similar tracks with same off beat thing but with a slight shuffle. i have all the style tracks except bonus pak 5.

hello video you got me wrong, i didnt mean that song(i still cant find what im looking for) i really couldnt find what i was looking for, i just put the the song bit in for humour, but it obviously fell flat.

Try searching for "shuffle" in the style search box. This should list all the shuffle styles and maybe you can recognize the ska/reggae listed ones there to help eliminate the list?
One of my Dads friends back in the day used to be in The Migil 5 who charted in UK with a BlueBeat version of the classic Mockin' Bird Hill.Id love to find a Style that worked too.Lurking now with intrest. Wendy

This is my list of Ska Reggae according to BB2019PLus anyway.Maybe you can adapt one of these.For MockinBird Hill there is an Ev16 that might do for it.Im going to poke some chords in later and see.
Listening to a lot above: All the stuff has sort of a whiteness type grooving, sort of a boring squarish simple kind? Seems like with white blues and ditto zydeco bands; them palefaces ain't got it. But that's IMO ... Bob Marley for ever ... And some of BIAB's RTs are quite a bit better ... BTW Pipeline: i like _MELLOW, has a sort of UB40 (the original band) feel. F
