Another nice listen, Gordon.

A little bit John Denver-ish, a little bit Poco-ish...

Nice.

Hey RiverBear, great work on this! Really dug the reverb on the vocals and the guitars sound very lively and fresh. Well done!

Nice work on this smile Love how gentle it is - almost like a souped up campfire tune. Someone else mentioned John Denver and I can agree with that comparison - definitely not a bad thing! Your vocals and the chord progressions match beautiful.

Thanks for sharing!

Gordon,
Nice folk style song.
I was hesitant to write my opinion on your first post (This is Hidin) about distant vocals...somebody was braver than I and pointed it out. Seems you took it well smile This song has a very good balance between instrumentals and vocals.
I enjoyed it.

Thank you for sharing!

Misha.

Your voice really works with this.
The timing seemed a little wobbly early on & the lead noodling wanders a bit but this is very nice.
What BIAB components did you use?

Cheers

Rayc.. I used none. I did this song before I had bIAB. So, as the story goes.... I was 5 when my grandmother taught me some piano and then clarinet in junior high from them. I got a guitar in parts at 14 and Harvey Thomas, the guitar builder told me what to do to get it together. I had to wrap pickups and put the neck on and solder and all that. I got a banjo and a mandolin and like 15 and all. So, all the tracks I have been doing all my life, I just played. Bass, mandolin, dobro, banjo, bozuki, fiddle, piano, baritone, ..my house is like a music store. I dabble with all sorts of things. I was a lead guitarist, mandolinist, slide guy and keyboard player in a local band for about two years recently. It taught me a bunch. I hope that was not against the rules to put something up that I played everything on.
Timing... I have a good right ear, but cannot hear things like drums very well. I was a machinist for 40 years and now retired. yup, now you see why BIAB. I have always programmed drums, I only play spoons and native eight sided drum myself. I needed the background tracks to really move forward. Right here, what you said tells me I made the right decision. I thank you for a question that made me dig deeply into my own head to answer.
All the rest, thank you very much as well.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
