Just a heads up, I know some of you use the Coolsoft virtual midi synth sound font player, and your favourite sound font. The latest update vers 2.11.0 has a really great new function. It converts Midi to audio using your chosen sound font but as well as outputting as a Single wav 16, 24, 32 bit Mp3 128, 192, 320 k and Flac. It now allows you to output as multiple track audio one track for each midi channel. Very useful for IMPORTING to Audacity or your DAW.

Thanks for pointing that out! I upgraded to v2.11 a couple of days ago, but didn't notice that new feature.
FWIW, I had been using the Arachno soundfont for years, but have recently switched to the JJazzLab soundfont.
1. Made up a simple midi melody for the old Big Band song "Undecided" in TablEdit.
2. Exported the file as a single Midi file using Tabledit.
3. The file exported OK and it plays fine in my midi player. Evidently the Midi file exported from TablEdit has 2 separate Midi Channels each containing part of the melody because when I loaded it into Coolsoft and used the Midi File Converter option, the result was 2 separate WAV or MP3 files each with only part of the Midi sounds.
When I put both the resultant audio files into Adobe Audition in a multi-track session. I had to bounce both tracks down to a new one to get the melody to play in 1 single track.
Now this is not a big deal since I can bounce them down to 1 track in my DAW, which I did. That only take a second or two.
My question is I am wondering if there is any way using the Coolsoft Midi File Converter option to have all the channels exported as a single WAV or MP3 file instead of each channel being on a separate file.
I have attached a 7zip file with all the needed files for you to play with.

Hi Yes when you use the midi converter make sure that the little box that looks like a ladder at the rh end of the output file format box is NOT highlighted Blue as this is the multi track out box.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
