I read BH comment, but I can hear your bass just fine in my semi open headphones which are not "bassy" at all. Mix is PRO level to my ears. Good stuff. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks Misha. We are glad you liked it and much appreciate all your comments. Thanks for mentioning the bass also. I’ll check in with Peter and see what he’s using.

Fantastic! Everything is perfect (vocals, guitar, the band, the mix, the production, the photo of Janice in the old church). One word Amen!

Bravo!

Congratulations to all involved.

Yes, we know the song (even those Dutch know it :D)
Great layers Janice.
This song invites to sing along. It's spot on.
Guitar solo is terrific!

Man, Janice is at the top of her game here, love all the vocal layers. Peter adds the perfect guitar parts, something he always seems to do, and Bud, you are sounding mighty fine on the upright!

Great job on the the mix too, Bud. 18 tracks!!

Really well done you three, very much enjoyed! Going to give it another spin ...

Thanks for the comments on the guitar Dave, it seems to have split the field so to speak.

Misha
Thanks.
I used a Helix amp setting - if I recall it was a Vox AC30 amp emulation with some overdrive.

Very nice treatment of the old classic by all of you!

Janice always nails the vocal....too easy to take her for granted because she's always spot on!

Bud, as I've commented before, you should play on more of your tunes because it always sounds great!

Peter plays a smokin' lead here! I can go either way here in desiring a clean or gritty lead! I personally would lean toward a clean chicken pickn' sound but that's just me!

Nice work as always by you folks and we expect no less! Thanks, Torrey

I think the fiery blues guitar parts work really well for this uptempo rendition of this song and also reinforces, with the hand claps, that it's REALLY a version.
The BIAB elements work a treat and, of course, there's Janice.
I'll simply say taht I can point to the song with a knowing nod and say "There's Janice!". Enough said.

Thanks Ray. Glad you liked the song and especially the guitar as we also thought the contrast worked well. And thanks for mentioning the bass! And everything else.

I think Peter's solos are so much better than any other instrument could do. And that's a cool deep harmony, Peter. Right from the a cappella opening to the final Amen this is outstanding, y'all.

Marty, your support is most appreciated. Thanks for every thing above. You are too kind regarding my bass … but I’ll take it smile

Peter's guitar works. Adds a nice PB&J flavor to a classic.

Piano - nice. Claps - perfectly placed (and a great sound).

Mix - perfect (as always).

LOVE the album cover!

An obvious choice for a J&B version. Done right. Amen.

HA!! You took me back to my Mother's church back in the country in Virginia the 60's. I was a city boy. The only thing missing were the old ladies with the cardboard fans going back and forth and the ushers dancing in the aisles!! Great performance, especially the beginning !! :-)

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
