All around first rate. Good think you are such a good player to rise to the level of that song. I happen to know a couple of Montana outfitters, Elk and some big game. Let's just say you're not going to see them at the county HHR.

Man what a song. I like how it starts kinda light and then jumps out at you. Great lyrics, and the music was absolutely superb, especially the lead guitar.

Telling a story many of us can empathise with, in a warm, matter-of-fact, yet somehow reflective manner. The harmonies are fabulous. This should be on the radio. Bravo.

M17, I really enjoyed your review. Thanks,Tom

Tom,
I really like this reflective side of your music; there`s a nice arc to the write, with lived wisdom expressed in fine details... and the summing up on the chorus is darn catchy as well.
I enjoyed everything about this!

"Life got in the way" great title, I think I have heard that several times. Never wished of being a cowboy or a anything related to fishing, but surely a million things. The story told very well and good interpretation.
Nice gentle intro and enjoyable drum lift to the chorus part. Nice use of acoustic guitars. Excellent sounding mix.

Hey Tom, I'm gonna give you 2 "reallys".
This is really, really good man. This is better than anything I heard on the Nashville Bash the other night.
Lyrics, guitar work, band, mix . . . all top shelf!

For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

Pristine mix.
This is what happens after spending the summer out west. I have a roundabout connection to MMM. my friend and former bandmate Boomer Castleman was one half of the band Lewis and Clarke Expedition. Murphy’ s real name is Travis Lewis and Boomer used Clarke as a stage name. Boomer had some serious stories about the old days and could tell them for days. Sadly he’s gone now. Thanks for the comments and jogging my memory, Tom

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
