Hallo zusammen,
ich habe einige Jahre pausiert und bin jetzt wieder aktiv im Forum, soll heißen, dass ich erst einmal viel gelesen habe, was alles so bisher behandelt wurde.
Jetzt meine Frage zum Stylepicker. Wenn ich einen Style für meine eingegebenen Akkorde suche, ihn dann abspiele und nicht für gut befinde, wechsele ich wieder zurück in den Stylepicker, um einen neuen Style auszuprobieren. Die Liste beginnt aber immer von vorne. Da muss ich sehr aufwendig die Stelle suchen, wo ich bisher mit meiner Suche war. Desto weiter das in der Liste ist, desto schwieriger wird das. Ist meine Arbeitsweise falsch oder hat sich zu dem Thema schon jemand geäußert?

Hallo, Kalledenia,
du hast Recht, das stört mich auch oft und ich kenne keinen Weg, das zu ändern.
Es wäre eine sinnvolle Ergänzung, wenn es entweder möglich wäre
- den gewählten Style schon im Stylepicker mit den echten Akkorden vorzuhören, statt mit einer Demo
- oder beim Neuaufruf des Stylepickers auf irgendeine Weise der zuletzt verwendete Style in der Liste angesprungen oder/und farblich gekennzeichnet wird
Wenn ich darüber nachdenke, wird letzteres in der Programmlogik aber nicht ganz einfach zu lösen sein, dazu gibt es zuviele Sonderfälle. Was etwa, wenn ich einen ganz neuen Song lade, und der als "zuletzt verwendet" markierte Style gar nicht zu den aktuellen Filtereinstellungen passt, also auch nicht gelistet wird.
Aber stelle deinen Wunsch auch mal im englischen Bereich unter Wishlist für Band in a Box ein, dort wird er eher vom Entwicklerteam erhört :-)

Der Hinweis mit dem Sprung zur letzten Auswahl, den Du gemacht hast, ist eigentlich genial.
1. Stylepicker aufrufen
2. Style auswählen
3. Style für ok. befinden und in aktuellen BiaB-Song einfügen
4. Abspielen des Songs und Auswahl verwerfen, weil nicht gut genug
5. Stylepicker erneut aufrufen
6. Cursor springt jetzt automatisch auf den letzten ausgewählten Style
7. Neuen Style auswählen, usw.
8. Wenn ich meine endgültige Wahl getroffen habe, auf eine zu benennende Taste drücken und somit die Suche für beendet erkläre. Ab hier startet der Sylepicker wie bisher von Zeile eins in der Liste

Potzblitz, genau so (zumindest von Punkt 1 bis 7) funktioniert es jetzt bei mir plötzlich auch – nachdem ich einmal die Styleliste (langsam) neu aufgebaut habe. Ist das neu oder mir nur noch nicht aufgefallen?

Brille, mein Freund, das war der Ablauf, den ich bisher immer benutzt habe. Ab dem Punkt 6-8 ist es ein Wunsch, den Du den Entwicklern vielleicht vorschlagen könntest. Ich besitze UltraPlusPak 2016.

Bei meiner BiaB-Version 2023 funktioniert es tatsächlich bis zu Punkt 7. Beim erneuten Aufruf des Stylepickers springt die Liste (mittig) zum zuletzt gewählten Style und markiert ihn blau, so dass ich bequem den nächsten Style wählen kann, ohne erst in der Liste zu scrollen.

Das ist ja stark. Da war jemand schneller als wir. Um dieses Teil auch zu bekommen, muss ich wohl beim nächsten Angebot ein Update auf 2023 einkaufen. Ich danke Dir für Deine Mühe.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
