Anche questa volta Gli sviluppatori di PG Music sono andati oltre le mie aspettative. Solo da poco ho aggiornato alla versione 2011.5 e già mi ritrovo con la 12 ed io come sempre ho solo sperimentato una piccola parte dell’ormai favoloso programma. Per il momento quindi ho deciso di acquistare solo l’aggiornamento senza i Real Tracks che al momento conosco ancora poco. Il punto é che nello scaricare il file di aggiornamento Bandinabox_2012_upgrade.exe l’antivirus Norton mi segnala file contaminato da WS.Reputation.1 Da quello che leggo potrebbe anche trattarsi di un falso allarme ed infatti non ho avuto nessuna segnalazione scaricando il file con altro PC con G Data, solo che prima di installarlo preferirei essere certo che si tratta solo di una falsa segnalazione. Qualcuno ha avuto lo stesso problema? Tempo fa avevo posto un link per farvi ascoltare alcune mie prime composizioni. In questi ultimi tempi le ho un po’ riviste e credo migliorandole, altre ne ho fatte di nuove. è accaduta una cosa simile anche durante l'aggiornamento che avevo fatto io, non utilizzo Norton ma Kaspersky e questo mi ha segnalato questa minaccia:
PDM.Worm.P2P.generic (contenuta nel file d'installazione!).
Ad essere sincero non mi preoccuperei, ho visto un Post nel Forum canadese dove scrivono che Symantec ha approfondito e confermato che per quanto riguarda il WS.Reputation.1 si tratta di un falso allarme.
In quanto invece alla segnalazione dell'Antivirus Kaspersy, sono convinto si tratti di una cosa altrettanto innocua, suppongo sia dovuto al fatto che l'aggiornamento che ci interessa è troppo recente, i software che controllano i nostri PC non possono essere sempre aggiornati con tanto tempismo.

Ciao Maurizio, nei prossimi 3/4 giorni segnalerò sicuramente la cosa a PG Music, almeno per ciò che riguarda quanto accadutomi con Kaspersky (se non ho preso un granchio le spiegazioni riportate in questo Post dovrebbero risolvere la questione segnalata da Romy). Prima di scrivere a PG Music però vorrei trovare il tempo di fare un altro test su un secondo PC, questo perchè mi sono reso conto che quanto ho scritto ieri va corretto. Kaspersky mi aveva segnalato un Worm appena avviata l'installazione con il file scaricato da PG Music, in seguito però ho preso l'occasione per fare tabula rasa nell'Hard Disk, ho reinstallato SO e tutti gli stessi programmi che avevo prima, ma ho installato in un apposito secondo Hard Disk il nuovo BiaB2012 partendo dal file d'installazione contenuto nel Drive USB che nel frattempo mi era arrivato: nessuna segnalazione dell'Antivirus. Vedo solo 2 ipotesi: o l'ultimo aggiornamento di Kaspersky ha corretto le sue definizioni (caso simile a quanto accaduto con Norton) o il file della prima installazione (scaricato da PG Music) era veramente infetto. Appena posso vorrei tentare su un secondo pc ancora una volta le 2 diverse installazioni, in seguito invierò a PG Music una segnalazione spero un po' più utile. Ciao Sergio e Maurizio,
non è la seconda ipotesi perché ho scaricato i files solo pochi giorni fa.
Ho fatto una seconda analisi con Ad-Aware, ma ache qui non ho avuto segnalazioni se non per altre cose.
Visto che devo partire per qualche giorno ho deciso di aspettare ad installare l'aggiornamento. Speriamo che nel frattempo il problema si risolva.
Sul Notebook che porto con me ho ancora installata la versione 2010.5 e quindi mi limito a fare solo verifiche e correzioni. Mi propongo sempre di impostare il tutto sul disco esterno, ma sono sempre a corto di tempo.
Colgo l'occasione per ringraziarvi e per augurare a tutti un felice e prosperoso anno nuovo.

Ho inviato la segnalazione al supporto tecnico di PG Music, mi hanno già risposto confermando che questo genere di segnalazioni degli Antivirus sono dovute al fatto che il file .EXE è ancora troppo nuovo. Quindi possiamo stare tranquilli, gli antivirus si mettono in allerta perchè riconoscono un comportamento potenzialmente pericoloso (per l'appunto l'installazione!) ma non ne conoscono ancora la causa.
Intallate pure le vostre nuove versioni del programma, se i file vengono direttamente da PG Music (download o USB Drive), potreste addirittura mettere in pausa l'antivirus (naturalmente connessioni Internet chiuse), velocizzerete tutto il processo d'installazione e potete dormire sonni beati, e . . .

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
