OP Paul bright Apprentice Joined: Nov 2011 Posts: 140	!st cut at this song.. written this morning at 3:00 am... http://www.reverbnation.com/play_now/song_12798780 Most of it is Real Tracks with exception of ezkeys and ezdrummer.. (piano/drums) BB - Acoustic Guitars both tracks.. Clean Electric for Organ adn 3rd guitar Electric Rock for 4th Guitar on chorus 2 and beyond.. Structure for chorus strings And yes my voice on vocal track.. 3:00 am singing session again..lol

Thoughts as I listened: - 5:05 is too long. Once the chorus message is delivered nothing different happens afterwards. I think shorter would be more impactful. - The key change near the end feels like a big lurch; it's a good idea but somehow sounds awkward at the moment. - I'd put your vocal back a bit in the mix. I know from your other songs you like it well forward, but the backing sounds firmly relegated and somehow separate when in fact there are things in it to listen to and enjoy on a par with the vocal. Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
