Recorded in PT at buddy's house Brought home and remixed in RB Old simpletonguru song from a few years back (one of the projects Barry and I did over the years) http://audiomastering-online.com/stuff/HittindaNumberzA.mp3 I particularly enjoyed playing this live due to the ensemble parts.

I especially enjoy the various timing aspects...
for example:
1) the places where a wall of sound stops cold in perfect unison
2) the places where the drums accompany the guitar note for note
The singer has a pretty high voice, so I've gotta ask: (on second thought, I won't ask)
For a song that was recorded live, you achieved remarkable clarity!

1) We played that song a lot of times before recording it. We knew when to stop  2) The drummer and guitar player are brothers, it was eery at times I don't think I said it was recorded 'live'. It was recorded to feel that way, but there are 7 or 8 guitar tracks, Barry doing multiple vocal tracks .. it isn't 'live'. I said I enjoyed playing it live (when we played out). Sorry if that misled you. Upper vox may well be me if you are referring to B/U vox I'd have to check to be honest. I know I did them live .. There's 30 (+) tracks on this, hard to remember who did what! I think I also did minor guitar parts and kybd bass in a few spots.

This track is really enjoyable to listen to; it has a brilliant feel and, as a singer and lyricist myself, I love the lyrics and vocals.
Thank you for posting this track, it's something I would love to hear more of.

Thanks for the input Josh Kenyon Barry (the vocalist) and I have done many many songs over the years. We are looking through them, trying to find our best stuff. Apparently this song is one of them, judging by comments here. Thanks again Quote:
