I am trying to get BB to accent the chords on the words "so remember when you tell those little white lies" I tried using shots but they are too choppy. Can someone suggest how to change the notation on these chords? I am using the So Nice Jazz Bop w/brushes Style

Did you try "Holds" rather than shots? If you have 4 chords in the bar, Holds will sound less choppy.
Also, you might try Shots (or Holds) but not on all instruments. My first port of call would be to put Shots only on Drums and Bass and leaving the other instruments to play normally. Then I'd try progressively adding other instruments. I'd also keep in mind that it is unlikely that the effect in the song can be replicated exactly as it is on the recording.

The particular notation at that points consists of triplets. I tried to do this also with an arrangement of He Ain't Heavy He's My Brother at bar 12 (and 28) of the chorus that the melody has 1/4 note triplets. I never found anything that fitted exactly, but used a Hold (e.g. C...bd) leading into a Part A marker on the following bar, which gave a usable result.
However, BIAB 2012.5 onwards has Midi Supertracks. I think this is your best answer, choose the desired style, then just edit the midi data to convert the bars to a triplet feel.

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
