Not seen any loops in BIAB? Would be nice to have access to a selection of all types of loops, for me I'd like some percussion, tambourine, shakers congas etc. I've been recording my own shakers but I would like something more refined.

It's in there, at least as of 2012.5. I don't think any new ones were added in 2013.
Nature sounds and percussion.

I would also like to have a timeline sequencer, like in RealBand or in Magix Music Maker to drop Loops at every Bar or measure. Would be useful to do Electronical music with samples together with composed rendered MIDI-Tracks.

Yes. You should be able to put loops on different tracks, like in a sequencer, beside the MIDI tracks.

2014 BiaB and RealBand supports the use of both regular and acidized (embedded with tempo and key signature information) loops. Though few loops are shipped with BiaB, essentially any loop you have can be copied into the loops folder and used.

One good way I have found to quickly make such loops - congas, bongos, tambourines, shakers etc - is to use a drum program like EZdrummer - if you have the latin percussion EZX it is dead easy to knock up a four bar loop and then have it play alongside BIAB.

The way PGMusic implemented loops is very clever.. The import loop dialog lets you manually enter the info that would normally be embedded in the header of a commercial loop... so the upshot is that you can make a loop out of ANY sound snippet!
Therefore you can search the web for sounds... and there are literally millions of downloadable sounds, musical and otherwise. Just google the phrase "free sounds
Also, if there is a sound you like in a song you have on CD, you could use a WAV editor to isolate that sound and save it as a snippet that can be looped

another hidden gem is the Midi Drum editor in Real Band. From the main menu: ACTION > DRUM GRID EDITOR
after you create the pattern and save it, then use this command to apply it: EDIT > FILL TRACK WITH MIDI DRUM PATTERN
It resembles the FL Studio paradigm of selecting trigger notes in a recurring grid. The grid is basically a piano roll but for the GM drum patches.
The editor is designed to create short MIDI drum passages that can be looped... and since it's MIDI, it is editable. You have access to the whole collection of percussion patches, so you aren't limited to drum kits... pretty much any GM percussion can be setup this way.
It is the best tool I've found for RAPIDLY creating and customizing drum patterns
It comes with a whole bunch of ready made patterns too.

Well hidden is putting it mildly - I'd never heard of it and can't find it - could you please explain a bit more fully how to get to it? I am not sure what you mean by "main menu" nor can I see a heading called "Action". Thanks!

Apologies - my mistake -thought we were discussing band in a box but you are talking about real band aren't you! can see it now. It looks the same as the one in the style maker in band in a box?

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
