One thing I think it weak about band in a box is limited intros, outro's & fills. Probably the most needed is drum intros. When I make songs I want them to sound real and unique. One way to do that is to add drum intros and if possible create more fills, outro's.

Many of us create our own intros and endings. +1 tho for the drum intros. Later, Ray

At the moment my skill only allows me to use what BIAB creates. But I'm learning every time I play with it.
What would be good is if PG Music would add "intros" & "endings" as you right click on the bar where you want it. At the moment you can only select A or B drum patterns and sometimes C. But it would be good if there were more in the list like Intro A, B, C, Outros A, B, C within each style.

There is an option to do a little of what you want in the intros. Go to: Prefs-Count in, and choose the type of lead-in from the choices there. Later, Ray

I would agree that we need better endings! Many (if not most) of the endings sound as if they just end abruptly. I either do a fade out when recording, or try to fix the ending myself by holding/sustaining the last bar. If there were more natural sounding endings (like they have on some of the arranger type keyboards) I would be in HEAVEN!!

We've been commenting on intros and endings, and that's all good.
The OP also mentioned fills.
One of the ideas that has been raised before (I'm thinking maybe John Ford) was to separate fills from sub styles. In other words be able to place fills by themselves without triggering a change from A to B sub style etc. caused by part markers.

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
