Hi, friends ! Got carried away dreaming about times gone by ending up in this little Bossa Nova tune. Dean Clark fixed the guitar solos on this one I sang the vocals and the background is entirely a BIAB Bossa Nova production. Nice tune. Reminds me of the crooners....
Comments on the mix: Sounds like there is way too much "room sound" in this mix. And too much reverb.
Try to get closer to the mic when recording... use a pop filter and get close. that will help to eliminate the room's ambient sound. Don't try to use reverb to cover up things.... lots of people do this when they are starting and really, just learn how to make things sound good with less reverb.... you'll be happier with the results. The verb dates this way back in time.

Your overall "style" sound reminds me of early Sergio Mendez - that is a compliment. <grin>

Like has been said, this is a nice relaxing tune. Herb has some good advice. The guitar solo also seems just a tad too far back in the mix.

Hi Dani, Very relaxed, very enjoyable  I agree with Sundance. There is definitely a Sergio Mendex feel about this. As Herb and Steve have already mentioned, it would be good if the guitar solo could come a little further forward in the mix. Other than that, I always like hearing you sing. Herb is definitely right and I would have
remixed earlier but my computer crashed
and at the same time the voice tracks
for this tune disappeared so i have
to sing it again as i will do at a
suitable time !:))

I do like singing tenor (i.e.barbershop
tenor in falsetto) even if I am a bass,
the falsetto comes easier to me nowadays.

I'm in agreement with the comments about moving the guitar out front a bit. Beyond that it's a very mellow "crooner" with fine harmony. Hey, I'm plenty old enough to remember the good crooners. The dictionary says crooning is to "sing pop songs in a soft and sentimental manner" and I think that well defines your craft. VERY enjoyable -- particularly near the end of a long day....which is where I am now!

That is such a relaxing tune and then comes the 1st guitar solo to make one sit up and then back to eyes closed, relaxed. wonderful solo to end it all!
