This is a song collaboration with Wien Sam. ** Sam - your mail box is full and you obviously should hear the finished product first, but I'm going to publish and be damned as they say, as I think the song sounds pretty good now, and hope you don't mind! Sorry it took so long to put it all together! ** A few months ago I posted an earlier version which wasn't up to my usual standard (well, I wasn't well...  ) but I think I've got it nailed now. Sam wrote the lyrics and I did all the music. I think it all hangs together a lot better now, anyway, here it is for better or for worse! Monika. John

I'll have to listen again thru the good speaks--I only heard it through my GF's little Dell speakers. Sounds solid, clean, and fully professional from here. Nice work.

Sounds good here too. Nice tune, nice lyrics, nice melody and well recorded. Can't ask for better than that.
Too bad some of these tunes like this don't get on the radio rather than some of the crap that is on now. Especially the ones who put out a few good tunes then ride on their good name and put out garbage.

Just listened again in the studio. I'm blown away by the production. The groove is reminescent of Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams", one of my all-time favorite rock mixes, tinged with the shades of Jeff Beck and Mark Knopfler. Compared with the FM greatest hits disc in my player it seems like it could use more electric bass, but that's a quibble. I wish I could get the clarity in my mixes that I hear here. (Love the Wired-era tremolo on the piano at the end, too.)
The lyrics are elevated by the music. Any band should be proud of a piece produced this well.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
