An Old Fashioned Hootenanny
On Friday, March 13th at 2 PM Central Time. A fun time is guaranteed or your entire purchase price will be cheerfully refunded at your nearest WalMart store. (Keep your receipts).
I may even sing one from my pre-stroke recording archives.
The only guarantee - you'll have a great time with Danny Campo, Summer Russell and unannounced other entertainers.
Be there or be trapezoidal! ]

FRIDAY THE 13th???
What could possibly go wrong?
That is funny Pat. Last Saturday I advertised my Dylan and Denver sneak preview quite heavily. I decided to test my equipment quite early on Saturday morning. Streetjelly had "problems" and they were all asleep. Eventually we got that sorted out and then the whole wireless internet oin the area went on the blink. We eventually managed to get that sorted out and then load shedding (rolling blackouts) hit my suburb. I think it should have been Friday 13th last Saturday!

Just learned that my friend of 55+ years, Nokie Edwards (Ventures) will be lurking. Hope that won't fluster Danny but he's a rock-solid professional.
Nina Gerber; Thom Bresh; and others will be lurking.

Other Don,
And where does the hootenanny originate? (I see some familiar SJ names) so I'm assuming StreetJelly.

Other Don, Physically, here in my Nursing Home in Okmulgee, Oklahoma but streaming live on www.streetjelly.com at 2 pm Central time. Summer Russell is coming up from California and will do an hour also but I don't know yet if she'll be before or after Danny. They both plan to dub harmonies over my pre-stroke vocals. Color me elated! Some famous artists will be lurking. Hope you will join us, old friend. It should be a blast. Even Josie Cooper from Johannesburg, SA is getting up in the middle of her sleep to throw cyber tomatoes and otherwise encourage us. I certainly feel loved!
I also invited Dr Gannon and crew but haven't heard a peep out of my Canadian friends yet.The icing on the cake would be for Mac to pop in and encourage me.

Don, that's a different show of Danny's. Friday, March 13th at 2 Central Time is confirmed.
The only question is: will Summer be on ahead of or behind Danny.
It will be a memorable show either way.
Summer is flying into OKC then busing to Okmulgee Friday morning. She came last year, sat Indian style in the middle of my bed, and absolutely mesmerized me with her beautiful voice for 2 hours.
I affectionately call her "the last living hippie in captivity".
Wonderful young lady. She calls me her "cyber Dad" lol

Danny and Don.. (and I'm pretty sure Summer is a forum member too)
Great show! It was fun seeing y'all again! Danny, you are the entertainer of the year in my book!
Summer, I hate that the stream got sketchy when you started!
all in all, it looks like everybody had a great time at the home, whether it got out to the internet of not

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!
If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.
A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."
"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."
"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
