Can anyone help? I have entered the chords for My baby just cares for me and now I want to enter the recorded bass part from Nina Simone's version. What is the best way to do it?

Use a DAW.
Copy the tracks into a DAW.... such as Real Band or Sonar or Cubase or any other DAW. Drag or copy and paste the track you want into the DAW track or play your own and record it.
With a DAW, you can have a variety of options available.
You can export the tracks out of BB or export a "mixed" track with the bass muted. You can also simply save the BB version and then open it in REAL BAND.... Mute the bass track in RB and drag in the bass track you want.

Another way (not necessarily better, but an alternative anyway) would be to record the bass line as MIDI on the Melody or Soloist channel.

I must apologize for not having responded until now.I submitted the post ref adding bass tracks and never opened up the forum to see if anyone had replied. I have just opened BIAB Forum and found your suggestion.
Sincere belated thanks. I can see what you are suggesting. I have been going thru BIAB for Bozo's video tutorial so I have a clearer idea of what to do. I will try it.

Sincere belated thanks. Using a DAW makes sense to me now. It didn't when I submitted the post.I have been going thru BIAB for Bozo's video tutorial so I have a clearer idea of what BIAB can do.
Newcomers to BIAB really need to take a course in Computer Music Technology before you can get your mind around what you have in your hands with BIAB.
